Reasonable & Attainable Counseling Services, LLC

Welcome to RACS Home-Community Based, and Telehealth Psychotherapy.  Thank you for considering me as your therapist during your journey of mental health wellness.

As a Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist, I have been fortunate to provide clinical treatment to a variety of patient populations in numerous clinical settings.  These include serving as a Clinical Social Worker at the Rhode Island Adolescent Correctional facility (the Rhode Island Training school), a Psychiatric Clinical Social Worker at Kent County Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital; a Substance Abuse Clinical Social Worker at Kent County Inpatient Medical Substance Abuse Unit, a Clinical Care Coordinator and psychotherapist at Women & Infants Hospital’s Women’s Behavioral Health Day program and Perinatal OCD Intensive Outpatient Program, and a psychotherapist at Brown University.  These experiences have allowed me the opportunity to engage with patients of diverse cultural backgrounds, stages of development, diagnoses, and psychosocial challenges.

On a personal note, I was born in Liberia, West Africa.  My parents along with my 4 siblings relocated to the United States and settled in Providence, Rhode Island when I was 10 years old.   I earned a Bachelor degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island and a Master degree in Clinical, and Administrative Social Work From Rhode Island College.

I have been married to my husband for 24 years, and we are the proud parents to 3 amazing teenage boys.  I enjoy traveling within the US and around the world, meeting new people, cooking, working out, hot yoga, and spending quality time with my immediate family.

As we begin this collaborative therapeutic relationship, my hope is that you will leave each session with a sense of inner peace, motivation, and hopefulness.  Most importantly, through the use of clinically evidence based treatment and support I plan to help you gain the tools necessary to foster sustained progress in all areas of your life.

You can expect to experience an array of emotions, yet as your therapeutic partner, I will provide the clinical support needed to guide you during the entire process.

You are also guaranteed to learn a great deal about yourself, including your inner strength, ability to find laughter, peace, a new sense of self and self-esteem.

Remember, we are all humans.  It is ok to not always be “ok”.  Give yourself grace, set reasonable expectations for yourself, and consistently reflect on the little progress you make each day.

Best,
